Trains are indispensable whenever I travel. Truly old-style backpacking through a few countries in, e.g., Eastern Europe requires trains. I cannot imagine exploring Poland, Ukraine and Belarus in a different way if it wasn't for trains. Was a good trip. Now I wanna go backpacking again. But not on those luxury trains, I can't imagine myself sitting in a train like that from Turkey to Iran this summer. Although the Istanbul - Tehran trains are pretty sweet, too.
